| dc.description.abstract | Currently, information age encourages every organization to implement technology for its own convenience. Library as one of the professional institutions, develop automation systems as one application of the technology. The using of Free Open Source Software (FOSS) is growing in IT world because it has some advantages. Many organizations including the libraries choose to use FOSS. Senayan Library Management System or SLiMS is a web-based FOSS that can be used to build the library automation system . SLiMS has many advantages for the library automation systems. SLiMS is widely used in various types of libraries both in Indonesia and abroad. It has a great power in the SLiMS community that formed an important role in almost every city in Indonesia.
